Willis noted construction of the Gordie Howe Bridge along with other major local projects has highlighted the need for more youth choosing trades as a career path.

Students can register for the expo at In addition to participating in the expo, students will receive a food voucher, a swag bag and the chance to win a St. Clair College scholarship.

“With the recent developments in Windsor-Essex, the skilled trades are of even more importance in providing positive outcomes for our community,” Willis said. This event will provide an opportunity for students to learn more about the skilled trades in an interactive, informative, and fun environment.”
