Windsor police are continuing to investigate a brutal stabbing that occurred in the city’s west end last week — and they now believe one of the suspects is a teen.
The incident apparently started with a fight between strangers in the food court at Devonshire Mall on June 2 around 4:15 p.m.
Investigators believe the same individuals involved in that altercation then had an incident around 7 p.m. in the 3600 block of Sandwich Street — resulting in a male suffering multiple non-fatal stab wounds.
Police initially released images of two suspects who were recorded on mall surveillance cameras.
Further investigation has led the Major Crime Unit to believe one of those suspects is potentially a youth — 15 to 18 years of age.
Windsor police are now circulating images of the older of the two suspects.
Both suspects are described as white males who were wearing black hooded sweaters, black pants, and black shoes.
