NBA all-star game live blog: Fred VanVleet represents Raptors

It’s time for the finale of NBA all-star weekend.

Raptors guard Fred VanVleet will make his first all-star appearance on Sunday night, becoming just the fourth undrafted player in NBA history to accomplish the feat. He’ll join former teammate DeMar DeRozan, who finds himself in the MVP conversation with the Chicago Bulls, on Team LeBron, while Canadian Andrew Wiggins starts for Team Durant.

Renowned Canadian sportscaster Rod Black and longtime Star Raptors reporter Doug Smith will be sharing their thoughts here throughout the game.

Follow the Star’s live blog below for instant reaction and everything you need to know about the NBA all-star game, starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.
