Before Brooklyn Beckham and fiancée Nicola Peltz say “I do” on April 9, the couple reportedly signed the “mother and father of all prenups.” According to The Daily Mail, the legal agreement was not drawn up just to protect Victoria and David Beckham’s estimated $498-million fortune, but also Nicola’s father, an investor with an alleged net worth of $1.7 billion dollars. Yes, that’s more than triple what the former Spice Girl and soccer star have in the bank.
With money like that, it’s no wonder the couple is getting married at the Peltz family mansion in Palm Beach, Florida. According to The Daily Mail, the overall cost of the ceremony works out to about $4 million! For her gown, Peltz is reportedly working with stylist Leslie Fremar and will be wearing a custom Valentino gown by Pierpaolo Piccioli.
“Nicola trusts Leslie implicitly, and, while her dress is being made by Valentino, Leslie is the person she has turned to help with how she will accessorize and how she will have her hair and makeup,” a source told the publication. Others told the publication that the celebration could be described as “Miami society meets British celebrity,” which makes sense considering Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly invited. (Victoria and David attended their 2018 nuptials, after all.)
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz announced their engagement in July 2020 with a photo on Instagram taken by Brooklyn’s youngest sibling, Harper. “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,” he wrote at the time. “I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband, and the best daddy one day. I love you baby.”
In her own post, Nicola wrote, “You’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby, and thank you Harper for this pic.”
